It's been a long week you know? And it's not really the weekend for me. Cause I work every 3rd weekend and this it it. So, I'll be off Monday and Thursday next week. Would be nice if I could find a swap to get my 2 days off in a row. But oh well. And my daughter Kristin and girls are coming into town and I won't get to see them hardly at all! I will see them Saturday night and hopefully they'll want to come spend the night with "granma" but Alyssa may not since she'll be with her cousin and they love to play, you know being 6 and 7 year old kids. Granma gets put on the back burner! And that's ok. Today we go look at a car for Margaret. Yes, another car! And of course I'm the one that is catching the whole brunt of the cost. But you know, it's like one of my good friends said to me when I quoted that statement, "don't mothers catch the brunt anyway Patty?" Isn't that what we do? Well, when you put it into prospective and look at it that way, I guess we do. And the thing about it is, at this time in my life I am much better financially to help my kids than I have ever been. I work hard, I've finally been able to have a few things, still paying on some old things, but it's workable. And I have tried for years and still try to instill budgets and responsibility in my children. I really don't mind at this point helping them out if they're showing and doing they are trying themselves. I know everybody needs some help every now and then. Lord, don't I know! Been there, done that, and still do at times. So, as long as they're working, in school, things like that, I don't mind helping. BUT there will be things I demand in return. A payment every paycheck, and if I loan you money, do some work in return. There's always something to do around here! So, in a couple of hours I guess we'll be off to see this car and I've a good idea just from talking to the woman, we'll probably buy it.
Until next time.....
