Now all we're going to see for the next year until the big marriage is forever news on Prince William and his fiancee Kate Middleton. I guess they can weave this into a fairytale story. Not really. Like alot of couples they've dated for a long time, I think on and off hasn't it been? And getting engaged and plan to be for what? a year before the big day. Trying to decide on the best place to say their vows. No telling where their honeymoon will be. You know all that normal stuff. Except their "stuff" isn't normal. Cause of course he is royalty and she will be when they put that ring on her finger. That's all fine and dandy. Making history. Seeing how beautiful she is. I have nothing against it. I'm just tired of seeing it all over the news everytime I'm watching the news.
I do have to talk about this though. Princess Diana. I don't keep up with politics, maybe that's why I got so sick of it on the news. I didn't keep up with much goings on in England with the Queen, etc. But I always thought Princess Diana was a beautiful, kind person and I'll never forget where I was or how I felt when she died in that tragic accident. I was at a party and actually left and went home cause I was upset. Don't ask me why. I just think she was a special person. And had put up with Charles extra marital affair for years and just really had no marriage with him except for public and children. I think it is so meaningful that her son gave his bride to be the engagement rind Diana had.
I hope that Prince William's values come more from his mother than following the example of his father. Which I say, how could he not? His wife is beautiful. But then again so was Diana. But I think this will be following his Mom. I wish the best for them. And I know we'll continue to see alot of news on this young couple and every move they make. It's their life. It's what they are born into. So, we here in America will get to see all the riches and royalty probably everyday from now until...LONG after they marry for sure!
