Back home.

What a wonderful and much needed weekend! Getting together with my cousins was so much fun. The b'day party was a smash and and was more fun than I'd had in a long time. The local caterer did a superb job, open bar was great with the marguarita's, DJ with the choice music b'day girl picked out was great, and of course the Karokeing was so much fun! Me and my cousin took our turns singing our favorite songs, sang a song together, sang a song with the DJ, and we danced all night just about every song! Even got approached by a man that was in a band and is downsizing and asked me if I sang anywhere or for anybody locally. I told him I try to sing Karoke as much as I can. He is looking for a lead singer and was interested in ME!! To bad I had to tell him I was from Hawkinsville! There's goes my chance at stardom in South Carolina.

The house where we stayed was really nice. Built back in the 60's I believe they said. Old family home that was left to children and one of them bought out everybody else and rents it out, when they're not using it. And it's right next door to another of the sisters. My cousin's place was further down the lake, 30 minutes by boat, 15 by car. They came and got us Sat for left over party food for lunch. Stayed there and then home again by boat and later all met up for Mexican. Now I am not a favorite of Mexican. So I ordered a hamburger and fries and me and the waiter couldn't meet on open ground about whether the tossed salad went with that or if it was extra. Luckily my cousin had a good friend and his wife with us, which his wife is from Argentina and an interpreter too! Believe me they all gave me hell about me going over all this over and over for 10 minutes with that waiter!

Today we got up, drank our coffee and sat out on the porch talking and catching up again just like we started the day off Saturday. As usual didn't take as many pictures as I always plan on, but did get a few.

Now back to work tomorrow and now that's gonna be hard!
