I am taking lots of pictures. I am the tourist you know. With the camera swung around my neck and clicking here, there, and everwhere. Today, I'll gets lots more on our tour.
The plane flight was 4 hours. In a small Air Trans flight where even the stewardess had just enough room to go up the aisle with her car no less. I did get a enjoyable littlest bag of pretzels I've ever seen with my really small plastic throw away cup of soda. Times are hard I know. I haven't flown in about 25 years, or more, and I just don't recall the planes being that cramped. Or was that just because I was alot younger and didn't notice or care about things like that? Other than that, it was a smooth, long, and boring flight. I did find out cell phones do not work in the air. At least ours didn't.
So we got here late. 3 hour difference from home. went to Gilley's and ate a very expensive meal. I did splurge and have Salmon which I never eat, but when I saw the prices for a hamburger, I thought may as well spend a little more and get darn Salmon! So, I did and it was wonderful and filled me up before it was all gone. Now my friend, Jerri got ribs and sent them back. Really gooey red inside and tough. We ate at the bar to avoid a 25 minute wait, and he bartender we think, got offended when she sent them back. He said, "I've got the best ribs ever here and in a year nobody but maybe 3 people haven't liked them". Does he own that Gilley's we wondered? So they made her pay for the ribs anyway and she had asked for bbq, since it looked good on someone else's plate. She didn't like that either. Can't remember if they made her pay for that. She's funny and when we bitched, cause that's what we did, later about her food and the way the bartender acted, she stated, "I'm a cuntry girl and I know my ribs and bbq!" Which she is VERY CUNTRY! ha. ha.
On from there we hit the sack, she left the next morning for her class and I was lazy and hung around the room. Met her for lunch and ate a 20.00 buffet for 2. ARGH! And then met up with 2 of her friends from her work, went to Walgreens across the street. Wouldn't you know we go out to Las Vegas, and go to Walgreens. Temp is 105 or higher. Cold as a witches "tit" in a brass bra all through this place EVERYWHERE. But get outside, dry heat.

The view from our room is something else. Beautiful. You can see the desert mountains on the left, right, and straight ahead. peering around the other hotels of course. I wish I had lots of money to go to the Grand Canyon, but it's 275 miles from here, or the Hoover Dam. Funds are limited though. So, today we take our tour, mybe tonight go to the Cirque Du Soleil, here at Treasure Island where we're staying. May not go though. Only seats left are way in the corner. High up in the corner too. Not sure we'd get our 55.00 dollars worth if we can't see it. No more shows after tonight too. Should have gone last night. Or at least booked early. I know Jerri's gonna be disappointed we don't go. That's all she's talked about since before we got here. Me? I can take it or leave it. I think the tour will make me happy. Only 7 dollars for that! ha! We do get to get out and see other hotels and sights too on that.
Karoke tonight in Gilley's I think that's where we'll be. They also have several shows of the ship sinking here too. The Treasure ship with pirates. I hear that's really neat. We missed it last night but will catch it tonight. More tourist pictures to come!
So until my next follow up!
